An audition is required for this program, but the focus will be on students with strong stage presence over technique.

Welcome to Company Drag! This class will run as part of our traditional program for 10-months from September - June and will have the opportunity to perform in two P&P shows each each year.

In the earlier part of the year, Company Drag will delve deep into developing a drag personality and style, building solo acts, and having focused “units” on lip synch technique, improv, makeup and costuming, and the history of drag. There may be opportunity to perform solos or small groups as quick change performers during shows as well as performance opportunities outside of the studio.

Company Drag requires co-enrolment in 1 other class. This can be any kind of cross training. Suggested classes for co-enrolment include another Drag class, Burlesque, Showgirl Striptease, Rotating Burlesque Styles, Jazz 1, 2 or 3, or any other performance class.
