Jazz 2 is an intermediate level jazz class for students with 5+ years of dance experience.

Students in this ten-month traditional program will continue to improve upon their foundation of technique. Participants in this level 2 class should be comfortable with the following terminology and should be able to perform: single pirouettes, chaine turns, basic jumps, as well as have some comfort performing basic floor work.

Students should wear stretchy comfortable clothing they can move in, and jazz shoes.

Classes will include cross floors, short combinations and choreography applied to a performance piece for our year-end Showcase in June.

Black jazz shoes are mandatory for performance.
