Lyrical/Contemporary 2 is an intermediate level class for students with 5+ years of dance experience.

Students in this ten-month traditional program will build upon the foundational ballet, jazz and modern styles mastered in Lyrical/Contemporary 1 and will also have a greater focus on character and storyline building while continuing to improve strength and technique. Students in this level 2 class should be comfortable with the following terminology and should be able to perform: single pirouettes, chaine turns, basic jumps, as well as have some comfort performing basic floor work.

Students will perform in two shows from September – June.

Black jazz shoes or toe undies may be required for performance.
