Lyrical/Contemporary 1 is a beginner level class that draws on classic ballet, jazz and modern dance styles.

Students in this ten-month traditional program will learn integral elements of contemporary dance with a focus on character, storyline and technique building. Students will learn how to interpret steps and choreography to build engaging and meaningful dance pieces.

Students will perform in two shows from September – June.

Black jazz shoes are mandatory for performance.
