Jen Thorndale

Jen started dancing when she was
3 and couldn't get enough of the stage. She grew up dancing competively with Dancentral studio in Red Deer, Alberta, training and competing in jazz, ballet, tap, pointe, musical theatre and lyrical for 15 years. Her dance team was always a top contender at Calgary and Edmonton competitions, and they took home gold and platinum medals often. In university, Jen spent a year on the Uvic Dance Company and travelled to LA to train at the Edge dance academy. After taking some time away from dance, to pursue her school and career, Jen took a contemporary class with Carlene at P and P, and felt like she found a piece of herself that had been missing. She is so happy to have Passion and Performance and to have made dance a big part of her life again. Outside the studio, Jen has a degree in psychology and works in the mental health and disabilities field. When she's not working or dancing, she can either be found drawing, making pottery, off camping in the woods or hanging out on Dallas road with a cider and a good book.
