Don’t miss our April 2022 Donation Days! Our last session before Summer!

Donation Days is an opportunity to try out our classes by providing a small donation at the door. This year we recommend a $2 cash donation at the door (*Please do not bring food items as donations per Covid-19 changes). All proceeds go to Bridges for Women Society.

*NEW for April 2022 we are returning to our first-come-first-served model of Donation Days. There will not be a pre-registration for this session. Simply show up and dance!
If you wish to sign-up for any classes that you tried during Donation Days, they will begin the week following and operate on the same schedule as the Donation Days schedule. If you wish to sign up for the full session or program we strongly encourage you to register in advance as our classes fill up very quickly! You can register HERE>>>

~~~Placement Classes~~~
Any students wishing to be placed in a level 2 or 3 class must attend a ‘Placement Class’ as indicated on our Donation Days schedule above. Don’t let this verbiage scare you away as nobody gets turned away from our studio. We simply want to make sure that every student is placed at the most appropriate level for their skill set and technical background. If you are unsure what level might be most appropriate, please don’t hesitate to try out a few different levels over the course of the week. It is truly a no-pressure situation – we want you to have fun with it!!
All students who attend a Placement Class will be contacted within 2 business days of their placement class. Students will be provided their scores, the class average score, and any applicable recommendations. Please help us save a tree and fill out your placement class application form online! Placement is also subject to class capacity.
You can do one form for all the classes you plan to try here: https://forms.gle/z68M5KHaWZaxw4Ez8
Skill Requirements:
~Level requirements do not pertain to any chair classes~
LEVEL 1
None! Open to all levels and backgrounds.
LEVEL 2
Participants in any level 2 class should be comfortable with the following terminology and should be able to perform: single pirouettes, chaine turns, basic jumps, as well as have some comfort performing basic floor work. Most students in a level 2 class will have 5+ years of dance experience.
LEVEL 3
Participants of this level 3 class should be comfortable with the following terminology and should be able to perform: double pirouettes, axle as well as barrel jumps, floor work including backward rolls, and be comfortable with fast-paced choreography. Most students in a level 3 class will have 10+ years of studio dance experience.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR STUDENTS: Our class capacity has returned to our standard class sizing. We encourage our students returning to dance since the pandemic to be kind to themselves. You may experience sensory sensitivity being in a crowded space with loud music again. It will take a few classes to get used to it. We recommend dancing in the back for your first few classes if you are concerned so you can easily access the door as necessary. Masks are not mandatory but encouraged. We have many vulnerable members of our community at the studio, we kindly ask that you navigate the space with care and consideration. Please sanitize your hands frequently and keep a respectful distance from other students.
