Session 4 is right around the corner! Which means it’s time for our favourite dance community event: Donation Days!
Donation Days is an opportunity to try out our classes by providing a small donation at the door. This year we recommend a $2 donation or non-perishable food items per class. All proceeds go to Bridges for Women Society.

Registration for Donation Days is not required.
If you wish to sign-up for any classes that you tried during Donation Days, they will begin the week following and operate on the same schedule as the Donation day’s schedule. If you wish to sign up for the full session or program we strongly encourage you register in advance as our classes fill up very quickly!

~~~Chair Skills Workshop Intensive ~~~
If you are interested in taking chair dance at Passion and Performance then this is where you need to start! Our Chair Skills Workshop Intensive is a 2 hour workshop that operates every Friday of Donation Days. It is designed to teach you the basic skills necessary to move into any of our chair classes and will include a skills assessment at the end of the workshop. For safety reasons, attendance of this workshop is mandatory prior to registration in a chair class. NOTE: You may attend Chair 1 during donation days prior to the workshop to get an idea of what the class is like.
Cost for the 2-hour workshop is $40 for members and $50 for non-members. It is recommended that you wear pants or tights to all chair classes.
Please note, we do not recommend Chair Dance to anyone with severe neck, back or knee injuries, or to anyone with limited mobility.
~~~Placement Classes~~~
Any students wishing to be placed in a level 2 or 3 class must attend a ‘Placement Class’ as indicated on our Donation Days schedule above. Don’t let this verbiage scare you away as nobody gets turned away from our studio. We simply want to make sure that every student is placed in the most appropriate level for their skill set and technical background. If you are unsure what level might be most appropriate, please don’t hesitate to try out a few different levels over the course of the week. It is truly a no pressure situation – we want you to have fun with it!!

All students who attend a Placement Class will be contacted within 2 business days of their placement class. Students will be provided their scores, the classes average score and any applicable recommendations.
