Introducing Passion and Performance’s brand new Mama Program! This is a great opportunity to drop in and try our classes – just bring a small monetary donation or non-perishable food item for the James Bay Community Project.

WEDNESDAY:

THURSDAY:
Mama Dance 12:00-1:00

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Mama Dance:
Mama Dance is for all those moms out there who just wanna dance! This is a beginner level class for moms, so you do not need a dance background to come have some fun with trained doula and the unofficial “baby-whisperer”, Pam Zwicker. It is a great way to get in shape, meet other new moms and even bring the little ones along! Dance and community can be incredible supports for a new mom!

For moms with pre-crawling infants, please bring a carrier.

Mama Fitness:
Mama Fitness is all about getting new (and not so new) moms back into a workout that works for their bodies! This class was designed to help new mothers exercise in a safe and comfortable environment by our instructor, Megan Keylock, who is a Fit4Two certified Pre and Post Natal Fitness and Yoga instructor, and mother of two. Yoga and fitness are integral to a mother’s physical, mental and emotional health. Come enjoy some exercise along with your little ones.

For pre-crawlers, please bring along a car seat to class.

Mama Stretch:
Mama Stretch is a yoga-based class for mothers. It focuses on post natal yoga techniques that will help your body adjust to changes and rehabilitate from any injury. We will focus on increasing flexibility and building strength. Dedicate some time to your own well-being and embrace the physical, mental and emotional benefits post natal yoga can bring. This class is kid friendly! Bring along the little ones from infant to toddler! The instructor, Megan Keylock, is a Fit4Two certified Pre and Post Natal Fitness and Yoga instructor, and mother of two.

For pre-crawlers, please bring along a car seat to class.

For our Mama Program, we highly recommended that participants be at least 6 weeks postpartum if you have had a vaginal birth. It is mandatory if you had a cesarean birth to have your doctor’s approval after your 6-week checkup before taking these classes.

We request that everyone fill out a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (Par-Q) upon your first class for our instructors to review to ensure you have a safe experience.
