Are you ready to take your dance journey to the next level? Our unique Production Class Program is a fun way to explore building a comprehensive dance show in a small cast setting.

This year we have 35 spots in the cast of our new dance production “The Blessed”. Auditions are required for all those who wish to participate in the program.

ABOUT THE SHOW

OVERVIEW: In a small valley quietly hidden between waring worlds, bustling metropolis and magical kingdoms lived a group of witches known as The Blessed.  Hidden for hundreds of years, their existence is unknown to the rest of the kingdoms and within the safety of their valley, even the oldest of sisters have forgotten that anything has ever existed beyond the borders of their haven.

Their world was simple.  Everyone lived to the same age, dying peacefully in their sleep exactly on their 100th birthday. The only love the blessed ever experienced was that of sisterly love, never romantic.  Children appeared on the first day of spring at the doorstep of the house they were destined to.  Education was not necessary, each child arrived ready for their destined role in the community and the coven believed that without the opportunity to further educate they were able to eradicate positions of power.

What The Blessed Coven did not know, was they were not blessed. They were cursed. The valley of the Blessed coven was where the girls who possessed the strongest magical skillset, the smartest intellectual capabilities and strongest willpower were banished. Believed by the outer worlds that women of great power would be the undoing of their system, all girls of the greatest potential are hunted in the winter and left in the valley for the rest of their days. Their magic suppressed, their minds numbed, their hearts vulnerable.

One spring four girls arrived at the same home. Each girl a different age but bonded in a way never seen before within the Blessed. As the years moved on and the girls became women, the peculiarity of their arrival was forgotten until the day that everything changed.
