The end of high school does not mean you have to tuck away your shoes while your love of dance simmers. The Competitive Performance Class is for people over 18, with a minimum of 5 years of dance experience, who are looking to continue their craft with their peers. Each class will learn two dances that they will perform at the 2016 Spring Showcase. The Showcase is in June 2016, so this class requires a full 10 month commitment.
Don’t let the word “Auditions” scare you, no one gets turned away! Join us September 15 or 17 from 8:00 – 9:30pm for informal placement classes for the 2015 – 2016 Competitive Program Performance Class!
Audition dates:
September 15: 8:00-9:30pm
September 17: 8:00-9:30pm

What to bring:
-Water
-Good footwear
-Credit Card or Cheque book for registration (If you want to pay in full, you can pay cash).
In order to audition you must have minimum 5 years of experience in at least one of the following genres:
•Ballet
•Jazz
•Modern
•Gymnastics
•Hip Hop
The class placement auditions will determine which Performance Class you are in based on your dancing background, skill level, and availability. The two Performance Class times for the 2015 – 2016 year are Tuesday 8:00-9:30 pm and Thursday 8:00-9:30 pm.
In addition to Performance Class, experienced dancers can take our Technique Level 2 and Cabaret Jazz classes.
Do you really want to take part but don’t have the 5 years of dance experience? Our Technique Level 1 class is for you! In this class you will get to learn how to turn, jump, roll and kick. No experience needed! (We also have Recreation level classes for beginners including: Hoop, Chair Dancing, Pop Culture, Hotness 101 and Tie Up and Tease).
Students of all Competitive Program Classes will have multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year (not mandatory in Technique). You will also be invited to our really fun Bonding Sessions and our end-of-year retreat!
It is free to audition and class membership fees start at $50 per month plus GST (Costume Fee Extra).
