While we can’t perform on stage at the moment, our studio is taking on the big screen with our first feature film project! From September to December 2020 we rehearsed, costumed, performed and filmed over 50 pieces of choreography to create storytelling dance theatre. Think of it as a dance musical!
Eliza Scrooge, a local tech mogul based out of Victoria, BC, is cruel, greedy and self-centered. Estranged from her sister Alice, frustrated by her cheerful niece Freddy, and tyrannical toward her new hire Brianna Cratchit, Eliza embraces a cold life of solitude. But, this Christmas Eve she is visited by the ghost of her old business partner Joanne Marley, who has come to warn her that she will be visited by three spirits. Join Eliza as she learns about the value of forgiveness, the power of kindness and the strength of community.

Donate to our Studio:
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, our studio performed live theatrical productions. Tickets for these events would range from $25-$65 per person. This project has cost the equivalent of one of our mainstage shows, however we are not able to charge per person as we once did. If you are watching this film with multiple members of your household or core bubble, we kindly ask you to consider making a donation to our small business to help us with cost recovery for this project as well as our limited operational capacity during the pandemic. Your support is truly appreciated by our entire studio, which includes faculty, staff and dancers.
We would like to thank the businesses that offered their spaces, discounts, services and time to make this production happen.
