It will take a few classes to get used to it. We recommend dancing in the back for your first few classes if you are concerned so you can easily access the door as necessary. We have many vulnerable members of our community at the studio\, we kindly ask that you navigate the space with care and consideration. DESCRIPTION:Our first Donation Days of 2023 in Victoria are running January 9th – 12th!\n\nDonation Days is an opportunity to try out our classes by providing a small donation at the door. This year we recommend a $2 cash donation at the door or a non-perishable food item. All proceeds go to Bridges for Women Society.\n\nSAVE YOUR SPOT! It is not required to sign up in advance to save your spot\, but we do encourage students to! Simply use the Mindbody app (or access the online portal through our website)\, search the week of Donation Days and put your name down for any classes you plan to attend. If you feel like just walking in and showing up\, that’s totally fine too!\n\nIf you wish to sign up for any classes that you tried during Donation Days\, they will begin the week following and operate on the same schedule as the Donation Days schedule. Open to all levels and backgrounds.\nLEVEL 2\nParticipants in any level 2 class should be comfortable with the following terminology and should be able to perform: single pirouettes\, chaine turns\, basic jumps\, as well as have some comfort performing basic floor work. Most students in a level 2 class will have 5+ years of dance experience.\nLEVEL 3\nParticipants of this level 3 class should be comfortable with the following terminology and should be able to perform: double pirouettes\, axle as well as barrel jumps\, floor work including backward rolls\, and be comfortable with fast-paced choreography. Most students in a level 3 class will have 10+ years of studio dance experience.\n\n~~HIP HOP PROGRAM CHANGES~~\nOur Hip Hop Program has grown! So we’ve made three levels of classes\, and removed the non-performing Hip Hop Skills class. We now have Hip Hop 1 for beginner level\, Hip Hop 2 for Intermediate\, and Hip Hop 3 for Advanced!\n\n~~Looking for our Jazz Technique classes?~~\nWe have changed the name of these classes to “Jazz”. They will be run in the same format as our Jazz Technique classes were. These classes focus on building foundations and technique and don’t perform until the Spring Showcase in June.\n\nIMPORTANT NOTE FOR STUDENTS: Our class capacity has returned to our standard class sizing.
